Lisette is the Centre Director of Forest City Little Music Makers, as well as a Music Together® Registered Teacher.
She began her journey in music and theatre as a child and understands firsthand how integral music is to the developing mind and body.
After earning a degree in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario, Lisette travelled to the UAE and South Korea, where she taught music and kindergarten while also launching a voiceover career. During her time abroad, she hosted, performed in, and produced a variety of children’s productions for both television and stage.
Upon returning to Canada in 2009, Lisette continued to build her career as a voice actor and singer for animation, while also teaching lower elementary music at the London Montessori Academy. She is the founder and director of the internationally performing jazz events band, The Bettys.
Lisette is also a JUNO Award nominee for Children’s Album of the Year for Hip Kids Music, reflecting her dedication to creating high-quality musical experiences for young audiences.
She has completed Music Together® Teacher Training, which is grounded in research on early childhood music development. Music Together® teachers receive ongoing professional development, ensuring their teaching remains current, engaging, and impactful.
