Lisette is the Center Director of Forest City Little Music Makers, as well as a Music Together® Registered Teacher

She got her start in music and theatre as a child, and knows first-hand how integral music can be for the developing mind and body.

‪After earning a degree in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario, Lisette traveled to the UAE and South Korea where she taught music, kindergarten and began a voice over career. There, she also hosted, performed and produced a number of children’s productions appearing on television and on stage.

Upon her return to Canada in 2009, Lisette maintains a voice over and singing career for animations and teaches lower elementary music at the London Montessori Academy. She founded and currently directs the jazz events band called “The Bettys” that continues to perform internationally.

Lisette has successfully completed the Music Together Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. All teachers involved with Music Together receive ongoing support and keep their skills fresh through songs and skills workshops, teacher newsletters, training videos, and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.
